Johnny Depp: Hat Person Of The Year

Good old Johnny always surprises us... Now he is named "hat person of the year", because of his favorite habit of covering his head with hats. The Huffington Post reports:

"The Headwear Association (est. 1908, people) has named Johnny Depp the Hat Person of the Year, The Cut reports.

Johnny beat out Gwen Stefani, Hugh Jackman, Justin Timberlake, Kate Hudson and Nicole Richie for the title. And not to editorialize, but Depp is clearly most deserving, with his commitment to the fashion accessory dating back to his "Donnie Brasco" days, if not before. The Headwear Association adds:

Depp is rarely seen without a hat, and favors wide brim fedoras. The shape is enjoying quite a heyday right now; similar styles can be seen on Mad Men, The Adjustment Bureau and wider brimmed fedoras were seen on the Paris, Milan and NY runways.
